Skye Smitson’s credentials have shot her straight to the top of the women’s division in Futureshock, and she’ll get her chance at Hollie Barlow in Manchester this coming weekend.
It’s been over a year now since Hollie Barlow managed to capture the Futureshock Women’s Championship from Lily Winter. In that time she’s gone on to made successful defences against the likes of Lucy Sky, Harley Hudson, and most recent Violet Nyte.

However, it’s now been confirmed that the latest challenger for the gold is Nyte’s tag team partner, as Skye Smitson makes her debut in the company and straight away gets a shot.
This would be some additional gold for ‘The Villainess’ after she won the PWE Tag Team Championships alongside Nightshade last month. With a 13 year career behind her, Smitson brings plenty of experience to her matches and may well be a challenge which ‘The Hot Topic’ will struggle to overcome.
Hollie Barlow vs. Skye Smitson for the Futureshock Women’s Championship takes place on Saturday, 15th August at The Union in Manchester. This match takes place on the second show of the day, which takes place at 7pm. Tickets for both individual shows and deals to attend both are on sale now.
The likes of Nikki Storm, Kay Lee Ray, Myla Grace and Alexxis Falcon will be in action as the PROGRESS Wrestling Odyssey Tour hits the UK this September.
The PROGRESS Wrestling Odyssey tour heads to Edinburgh, Leeds, Manchester, Bournemouth and Birmingham over two weekends, and a number of the stars who will be appearing have been confirmed along with some of their matches.
WHAT ARE THE DATES FOR THE ODYSSEY TOUR?
The five shows confirmed for the tour are as follows:

WHAT STARS ARE CONFIRMED FOR THE PROGRESS WRESTLING ODYSSEY TOUR?
It has been confirmed ‘That Girl’ Myla Grace will be in action on all five dates of the tour. Having taken over as owner of PROGRESS Wrestling earlier this year and picking up her first win last month, Nikki Storm will be on action on select dates, as will Kay Lee Ray and Alexxis Falcon.
The contests currently announced for the PROGRESS Wrestling Odyssey Tour are as follows:
Edinburgh – Nikki Storm vs. Myla Grace
Leeds – Nikki Storm vs. Alexxis Falcon
Manchester – Nikki Storm vs. Kay Lee Ray
HOW CAN I WATCH THE ODYSSEY TOUR?
Tickets for the tour are available from the PROGRESS Wrestling website, or via each venue directly. If you can’t be there in person, then the company’s live events are usually available via Hooked On Wrestling TV, which also has a substantial back catalogue.
Kanji, the number one contender to the Undisputed British Women’s Championship, was in action on the latest RevPro show against Cory Zero, whilst Skye Smitson took on Rhio.
With opportunities at the Anniversary event at Wembley Arena later this month in high demand, both Skye Smitson and Rhio were looking to get back to winning ways. Smitson didn’t have much success at the Women’s Grand Prix, and the last outing for Rhio was a losing effort in her Iron Fist match with Kanji.
On this occasion it was Rhio was able to take a step up the rankings, as a package piledriver was enough to pick up the victory.
Kanji now knows that she’ll be getting her shot at Alexxis Falcon and the Undisputed British Women’s Championship when RevPro take over Wembley Arena, but there was still a hurdle to overcome in the form of Cory Zero.
However, a quick reversal after Zero missed her signature rope walk moonsault to lock in an armbar was enough to get the victory. However that wasn’t the end of everything, as Falcon made her way to the ring, inciting the Southampton crowd by wearing a Hull shirt and carrying binoculars.
However, it was Kanji who also went on the verbal offensive, claiming that ‘The Wicked Bitch Of Wrestling’ is just a Disney character Falcon is playing and isn’t actually her – and is seemingly ready to beat it out of her at the Anniversary show and take the title.
RevPro will be in Cardiff next Sunday ahead of the big event at Wembley Arena on Saturday 29th August. Tickets to all upcoming events are available now.
Skye Smitson was in the main event, as well as action for Abi Cartwright, Leia Elise and Nighshade as KWA presented their second event in Hullbridge.
Smitson is the head trainer and owner of the KWA academy, and decided that one of her students, Matt Kraven, was ready for a huge opportunity in the main event as they tagged together against Trew and Lacey.
However, the dastardly ways of Mark Trew and Kieron Lacey shone throughout the match, as they isolated Smitson not allowing her to make the tag.
Eventually she did but even more chaos ensued, including the official taking a headbutt from Trew, and eventually it was him and Lacey who were able to pick up the victory.
Billy Nuero, another member of the academy, came to the ring and made an open challenge – unfortunately for him, it was accepted by Nightshade.
‘The Deadly One’ was dominant throughout the match despite what was a strong showing from Neuro who did manage to take her down with a spear. However, a chokebomb from Nightshade was enough to get the three count.
In the other contest of note, Leia Elise took on Abi Cartwright. Cartwright would use every tactic in the book – literally attempting to use her book as well as two pens – in an effort to get the job done. However, the attempt with the book backfired as it hit the ropes and came back to hit Cartwright, and Elise followed up with a spear for the three count.
KWA returns to Hullbridge Community Centre on Saturday 10th October, where they will crown their first champion. Tickets are available now.
A surprise attack by Hollie Barlow, a tag title match and a mystery opponent for Session Moth Martina were just some of the talking points to come from Pro Wrestling EVE 152.
After putting out an open challenge to anyone to come after her EVE Championship last month, Session Moth Martina did the same thing on the road to EVE vs. The World 2. The challenge was answered by the returning Nightshade, and a gripping contest ensued. However, once again it was the title holder who managed to come out on top and rack up another successful defence.
Another return took place right at the start of the show, as Hyperactive came back to Pro Wrestling EVE for the first time since returning from Japan. They went up against Alexxis Falcon and Rhio, however it was Rhio’s attack on Hollie Barlow last month which was the deciding factor in the match, as Barlow looked to gain revenge which took Rhio out of the match. With Rhio distracted, Safire Reed and Anita Vaughan managed to take out Falcon and get the win.
The night wasn’t over for Barlow, as she then took the place of Emersyn Jayne in her match with Jessica Troy, as Jayne was not cleared to compete. ‘The Hot Topic’ managed to pick up a huge victory, stamping a mark on the singles division as well as what we’re used to seeing with LALLIE.

Pro Wrestling EVE 152 is the final stop before the huge show set for All In weekend, and there will be plenty of action with the likes of Kay Lee Ray and Jessica Troy competing.
WHEN AND WHERE DOES PRO WRESTLING EVE 152 TAKE PLACE?
The event takes place on Friday, 7th August 2026. The event will be held at Big Penny Social Club in East London. The nearest Underground station is Blackhorse Road, which is on the Victoria line so therefore has direct links in and out of the city as well as connections to all other major lines. The station is approximately a ten-minute walk from the venue. Please note that on this date there are closures at London Waterloo East and London Charing Cross railway stations.
WHAT MATCHES AND WRESTLERS ARE ANNOUNCED FOR PRO WRESTLING EVE 152?
Last month, Session Moth Martina made a successful defence of her EVE Championship in an Open Challenge match which was answered by both Aliss Ink and Lucy Sky. Gaining even more confidence, she’ll be doing the same this month.
There’s also Tag Team Championship action, after NYTE/SKYE won the number one contendership match last time out despite the fact they only faced half of LALLIE after Hollie Barlow was taken out by Rhio. Now they get their shot at French Art.
Kay Lee Ray is on course to challenge Miyu Yamashita for the EVE International Championship at the end of August as part of EVE vs. The World 2, however she has one more hurdle to overcome when she takes on Chantal Jordan.

Jessica Troy also returns to Pro Wrestling EVE for the first time since Wrestle Queendom, and on this occasion she’ll be facing ‘The Badass’ Emersyn Jayne.

If you can’t be there in person, you can watch the event live online via EVE’s YouTube channel. To do this, you have to join as a Champion level member, which is priced at £8.99 a month and allows you to watch all EVE events live.

A huge mixed tag team match involving Duchess Sophia and Gia Taylor has been confirmed for when WrestleForce return to Chelmsford next weekend.
Duchess Sophia came close to winning the WrestleForce Women’s Championship earlier this year, but was unsuccessful when she took on Amara Jayde, so will no doubt be looking to get a winning record going to get another opportunity. She’ll also be alongside Cameron Anderson who is proving to be a formidable force.
In contrast, Gia Taylor is relatively new to professional wrestling but has become somewhat of a tag team specialist alongside Craig Taylor, meaning this environment may suit them even better for the match. They’ll also be looking to make a big impression since this is their debut in the promotion.
Duchess Sophia and Cameron Anderson vs. Gia Taylor and Craig Taylor takes place when WrestleForce head to Writtle Sports & Social Club on Saturday, 8th August. Doors open at 6.30pm with first bell at 7pm. Tickets are priced at £14 for adults and £12 for U16s/OAPs, as well as family tickets for £45 and front row for £30. These will be available on the door or can be purchased in advance for a discount.
It’s one of the final stops on the road to the Anniversary Show at Wembley Arena at the end of August, and as well as Alexxis Falcon making the final defence of her title before going in to that event as champion, there will be plenty of opportunities for ladies to rise up the rankings to face her.
Kanji came out as the winner of the Women’s Grand Prix last month in Wolverhampton, and is seemingly on a collision course with ‘The Wicked Bitch Of Wrestling’. However, she also got blindsided by Myla Grace who stepped away as Kanji tried to make the tag to her last week in Coventry, and now the pair will face off in singles action.
On top of that both Cory Zero, who was making her RevPro debut, and Emersyn Jayne made quite the impression over the same weekend, and they now have the opportunity to notch up a mark in the win column as they go up against each other this Sunday.
All the action takes place this coming Sunday, 2nd August at Porchester Hall in London. Doors open for the event at 3.45pm with first bell at 4.30pm. Tickets are priced at £35 for front row and £25 for general admission (booking fees apply) and are available now.
Since then she’s also defeated Rhio to earn herself a shot at Miyu Yamashita’s EVE International Championship during All In weekend.
Now it’s been confirmed that KLR will make her return to Attack Pro for the first time in almost a decade when the company return to Cardiff, and she’ll be facing Emersyn Jayne.
‘The Badass’ Emersyn Jayne is well known to the Attack Pro faithful, and most recently picked up a victory back in June as part of a triple-threat match against Aliss Ink and Session Moth Martina.
The event takes place at Cardiff Student’s Union on Saturday, 5th September. Doors open for the event at 6.15pm with first bell at 7pm. Tickets are priced at £25 for balcony seating, £22.50 for general seating and £18 for standing (booking fees apply) and are available now.
It will be a return for Nikki Storm and a homecoming for Amira Blair when they face off at OTT in Belfast next month.
Last week, OTT presented an ‘After Dark’ event where the entire card and roster was unknown before the evening. On that night, Big Damo had made a request to a tag partner for the evening, and it became Nikki Storm’s first match back after her time in WWE.
After a busy weekend for Storm including her first match in PROGRESS Wrestling since becoming an owner of the company, it’s been confirmed who she will face when OTT heads to The Europa in Belfast next month.
In a similar vein at After Dark, Amira Blair was at ringside during Michael Oku’s match – and when it was clear he needed to make the tag, she was only too ready to hop on to the apron and play her part in the match.
That has proven to be a popular decision, and has earned her a singles match in her original home town against ‘The Best In The Galaxy’.
