Hollie Barlow Wins Discovery Wrestling Women’s Championship

Last night in Edinburgh, Alexxis Falcon‘s Discovery Wrestling Women’s Championship defence against Lana Austin was won by… Hollie Barlow?!

It was announced ahead of the Disco Derby that Alexxis Falcon would be putting the gold on the line, and it would be against a member of LALLIE – but it was never confirmed whether it would be Austin or Barlow.

The sort of mindgame we come to expect from LALLIE, this led to Barlow entering the match and getting the three count to leave Portobello Town Hall as the Discovery Wrestling Women’s Champion.

This ended the four-month reign of Alexxis Falcon, who won the title back in March when she managed to goad Mercedes Mone in to putting two of her titles on the line against her in Wolverhampton, which she followed up quickly by winning the RevPro Undisputed British Women’s Championship the following day.

We congratulate Barlow on the title win, as the gold in her name starts to mount up once again with the collection also including the Futureshock Championship which she will be defending later this month.

The next Discovery Wrestling event at Portobello Town Hall takes place on Saturday 31st October, with tickets going on sale this coming Wednesday. More details on the show will be available on the company website.

Violet Nyte Gets Huge Futureshock Title Opportunity

When a champion says they’re looking for new competition, it’s never going to be an easy ride and Violet Nyte has quickly stepped up to the challenge at Futureshock.

Violet Nyte has been making waves in the wrestling industry, in particular over the last six months. Alongside Skye Smitson she’s become number one contender for the Pro Wrestling EVE Tag Team Championships, and has also made impressive appearances at the likes of Pro Wrestling CHAOS and OTT.

She also currently holds the GWF Women’s Championship, and would no doubt like to add to her collection with the Futureshock Women’s Championship.

However, it’s clearly not going to be an easy task to get title away from Hollie Barlow. ‘The Hot Topic’ has now hit the one-year mark with the gold, including successful defences against the likes of Lucy Sky, Harley Hudson and Lily Winter.

Now Violet Nyte returns to Futureshock and she has been confirmed as the official challenger.

The match takes place at Stockport Guildhall on Sunday, 26th July. There are two shows on this day, and this match will take place on the second one where the start time is 6pm. Both individual show and combo tickets are available now.

Lucy Sky To Make RevPro Debut Against Skye Smitson In Sheffield

It’s been a strong year for Lucy Sky, and now she’ll be making her first appearance for RevPro this Sunday in Sheffield, however it’ll be a tough challenge in the form of Skye Smitson.

Lucy Sky has been on a bit of a streak picking up victories, in particular in TNT, and also challenged for the EVE Championship in a triple-threat match earlier this month.

This has brought her to the attention of RevPro management and she’ll make her debut this weekend, and has been matched up against Skye Smitson.

Coming off the back of a heated feud with Amira Blair, ‘The Villainess’ has now seemingly aligned herself with Alexxis Falcon, and even stepped in for the Undisputed British Women’s Champion last week at Live In London.

However, this is where the match in Sheffield could cross the RevPro boundaries, as a war of words between Falcon and Sky recently escalated, leading to the pair now being signed to a match for the TNT Women’s Championship.

This adds to the already signed match for Sheffield between Rhio and Kanji, which will take place under Iron Fist rules.

Lucy Sky vs. Skye Smitson takes place at Network, Sheffield this coming Sunday, 12th July. Doors open for the event at 3pm with first bell at 4pm. Tickets are priced at £22.50 for seating and £18.50 for standing (booking fees apply) and are available now.

Alexxis Falcon recently became the TNT Undisputed Women’s Champion, and has just had some harsh words for her first challenger, Lucy Sky.

It was at Sirens On The Loose back in June where Falcon cashed in her Level Up Briefcase to add herself to the title match between Lana Austin and Skye Smitson, and managed to walk away with the gold.

However, it now hasn’t taken long for a challenger to rise to the top of the pile, after a vicious war of words on social media between ‘The Wicked Bitch Of Wrestling’ and Lucy Sky.

TNT management were quick to get the match signed for later this month, and Alexxis Falcon has wasted no time in once again pointing out her personal the match is in a video to her opponent.

Alexxis Falcon vs. Lucy Sky for the TNT Undisputed Women’s Championship takes place on Saturday 25th July at Summer Explosion, which takes place at Hangar 34 in Liverpool. Doors open for VIPs at 6pm and general admission at 6.30pm with first bell at 7.30pm. Tickets are priced at £40 for VIPs, £25 for general admission and £12.50 for students, and are available now.

Skye Smitson & Nightshade To Challenge For Pro Wrestling EAST Tag Championships

Having worked alongside each other for many years at Pro Wrestling EAST, Skye Smitson and Nightshade look to stamp their mark on the tag team division later this month in Cambridge.

Both ‘The Villainess’ and ‘The Deadly One’ have been forced to be reckoned with through the history of EAST, often seen either teaming together or supporting each other from ringside.

When it comes to gold, Nightshade has proven to be indestructible as Women’s Champion, becoming only the company’s second title holder in February 2024 and going on to hold the belt ever since, including a tough defence against Amira Blair, Ronnie Knocks and Rita Slayworth in a four-way match.

At the Pro Wrestling EAST return show back in February, Nightshade once again defended her title against Nero Toxin, whilst Smitson was on the winning side of a tag match alongside AJ Pain against Fight & Flight.

However, after the match Smitson acknowledged that Pain was the future whilst the now was looking at championship – and after The Super Raffle Bros successfully defended the Tag Team Championships against Oliver’s Army, her and Nightshade came to ringside to make it clear they wanted their shot, and the challenge has since been accepted.

That match has now been signed, and ‘Deadly Skye’ will take on The Super Raffle Bros for the Pro Wrestling EAST Tag Team Championships at the PWE World Cup, which takes place at Storey’s Field in Cambridge on Saturday 18th July. Hyperactive’s First Match After Japan Tour Set For Hustle Wrestling

Safire Reed and Anita Vaughan have spent much of 2026 setting the Japanese wrestling scene alight, but Hyperactive have now confirmed their first match back in the UK will take place at the start of August.

Hyperactive have been competing for Sendai Girls since the middle of April, picking up plenty of victories and also making an appearance for Marvelous. They’re also set to be part of the big Sendai event on 26th July, which was the first contest they were announced for.

However, their focus will soon have to switch back to our shores, and their diaries are already seemingly filling up with matches including their first one back.

At last night’s Hustle Wrestling event, Hyperactive appeared via video to confirm that they would be competing at the next event on Thursday 6th August. Not only that, they’ll be looking to reclaim the Tag Team Championships.

Reed and Vaughan held the titles from February until just before they left for Japan, when they were beaten by Catch Regiment. Now, they’re after their rematch and taking back the gold as soon as they return to the UK.

Hustle Wrestling will return to The Colour Factory in Hackney Wick on Thursday 6th August. Doors open for the event at 6.30pm with first bell at 7.30pm. Tickets are priced at £27 for tiered seating, £26 for balcony seating, £24.50 for general seating and £17 for standing, and are available now.

As part of Kamikaze Pro’s Thirteenth Anniversary event later this month, Chantal Jordan will once again defend her Fighting Females Championship, this time against Myla Grace.

Chantal Jordan has held the Fighting Females Championship for over two years now, which also means she has surpassed the length of previous title holder Lana Austin’s reign.

During that time she’s overcome some extremely stiff competition for the gold, including picking up victories over the likes of Alexxis Falcon, Lena Kross, Emersyn Jayne, Melissa Fierce and Hollie Barlow.

However it’s now been confirmed that at the anniversary show in Digbeth, Birmingham, Jordan will face yet another jet-setting star as she takes on Myla Grace.

In recent times ‘That Girl’ Myla Grace has proven that she has a taste for gold, currently holding the Slammasters Championship and only recently losing the OTT Championship. She event briefly held gold in Australia earlier this year after beating Impact Wrestling’s Ash By Elegance.

RevPro Announce Iron Fist Match Between Kanji And Rhio

With tempers showing no sign of cooling off, RevPro have brought back the Iron Fist stipulation for a match between Kanji and Rhio in Sheffield this coming weekend.

It’s been since their first match in Cardiff where everything started to become fraught between Kanji and Rhio. On that occasion it was Rhio who managed to reverse a submission in to a quick pin for the win – and straight after Kanji snapped her arm back, although it wasn’t clear if it was intentional.

The pair then faced off in a rematch in Coventry, where the situation was reversed. However after Kanji got the win, it seemed far more intentional that Rhio went after the arm.

It was inevitable that the pair would cross paths again, and after being on opposite sides of a tag match at Live In London 108, they had one more singles match in Stevenage where Rhio got the victory. However, after the bell she showed total disrespect to Kanji, and the pair brawled and had to be separated multiple times before they eventually stopped fighting, although it wasn’t for want of trying with the amount of bodies who had to get between them.

It’s now been confirmed that this Sunday at Live In Sheffield they will face off one more time, but RevPro have made it an Iron Fist match, meaning there will be even more of an opportunity to punish each other.

Iron Fist matches have been very rare, but have very unique stipulations. Like an Iron Man match, there is a set time limit of 30 minutes where the wrestler with the most pinfalls, submissions or disqualifications in their favour is the winner. Whilst both wrestlers have excellent conditioning, this could be seen to favour Rhio.

However, where this match differs is that it can end immediately if a wrestler is knocked out. Again, this could be good for both however Kanji has proven to be proficient with the Hidden Blade, which was enough followed by a guillotine to pick up a victory over Kay Lee Ray at Live In London 109.

Renegade Wrestling Women’s Title Tournament Continues This Friday; Smitson & Star Also In Action

It’s going to be a busy night at Wimbledon Library this Friday as Skye Smitson, Duchess Sophia, Abi Cartwright, Skylar Star and Amira Blair will all be in attendance at Renegade Wrestling.

At the first Renegade Wrestling show last month, the Women’s Championship tournament kicked off and Skye Smitson became the first competitor to advance to the next round when she defeated Amara Jayde.

‘The Villainess’ will be back in action again this weekend and looking to keep the winning streak alive as she takes on the debuting Skylar Star. However, Star may be relatively new to professional wrestling but she is already making waves, and as a late replacement for Hannah Taylor is somewhat of an unknown quantity for Smitson.

There will also be another tournament match, as both Duchess Sophia and Abi Cartwright make their first Renegade Wrestling appearances in the opening round.

As if that wasn’t enough, it has also been announced that Amira Blair will be the special guest host for the evening. Well known to fans at Wimbledon Library, Blair will certainly bring a unique element to hosting the show.

Alexxis Falcon was set to defend her RevPro Undisputed British Women’s Championship against Aliss Ink before she flipped the script once again, and Kay Lee Ray debuted against Kanji at Porchester Hall this weekend.

It was last month at Live In London 108 when Aliss Ink made her debut in RevPro and went up against Alexxis Falcon in a non-title match. After a back and forth battle, one knockout kick was enough for Ink to get the victory, and shot herself straight in to the title picture and was granted a shot this month.

However, with the challenger already in the ring ‘The Wicked Bitch Of Wrestling’ with a microphone and informed everyone that due to the effects of the concussion suffered from the kick the month before she was not able to compete. Instead, she made sure Ink still got a match and introduced Skye Smitson.

Falcon stayed at ringside for the match to support Smitson, however when the referee caught her involvement she was ejected from ringside. Both women then came close to winning, however it was Ink who managed to connect with the kick once again and score the victory.

After the match Falcon returned to the ring, however she was also left unconscious from a choke, and when Smitson recovered she had to carry her new partner backstage.

Later in the show, Kanji was looking to exact some revenge from her recent loss to Rhio when she took on the debuting Kay Lee Ray. Former WWE star KLR came in with plenty of credentials, and certainly took the fight to Kanji in a fast-paced match.

There were plenty of opportunities for both ladies to pick up the win, and after hitting the gory bomb it looked like it would be Ray coming out on top. However, Kanji then managed to evade a huge swanton attempt and hit a hidden blade which sent KLR’s head in to the opposite bottom turnbuckle. She quickly followed this up with a guillotine which was enough to get a submission – and after the match a handshake and proper show of respect from Kay Lee Ray.

RevPro have events in Sheffield, Bradford, Wolverhampton and Coventry this month, before returning to Porchester Hall on Sunday 2nd August, ahead of the huge show at Wembley Arena on Saturday 29th August. Tickets to all these events are available now.
