It’s been an eye for an eye (or an arm for an arm) recently between Rhio and Kanji in RevPro, and this Sunday they’ll clash once again in tag team action.
Known as two of the top independent female wrestlers in the world, it’s a surprise to nobody that a rivalry between the pair would become quite so intense. However, at points it has taken on a more sinister side than some would have expected.
Back in Cardiff, it was Rhio who managed to snatch a three count victory whilst Kanji had a submission hold locked on. Straight after the three count she snapped back on the arm, something which Rhio has taken exception to.
The roles ended up being reversed during their rematch in Coventry last Sunday, where Kanji was the one who managed to get the win however Rhio snapped back on the arm after in just the same way – and there’s little doubt that it was an intentional act this time around.
It’s now been announced that the pair will face off once again this Sunday in London, when they’re on opposite sides of a tag team match. Rhio will be joined by Emersyn Jayne, whilst Kanji will team with Dani Luna.
This match will not just be about the ongoing rivalry. It’s also a huge opportunity for both Jayne and Luna to show their title credentials considering RevPro Undisputed British Women’s Champion Alexxis Falcon will also be competing at the show.
Both matches take place this coming Sunday, 7th June at the Porchester Hall in London. Doors open for the event at 3.45pm with first bell at 4.30pm. Tickets are priced at £25 (+ £2.50 booking fee) for general admission and are available now.
