Later this month in Hull, hometown hero Alexxis Falcon will be looking to go the distance once more when she defends her NGW Women’s Championship against Hollie Barlow.
Alexxis Falcon, the best thing to come out of Hull since Dean Windass, won the NGW Women’s Championship from Lizzy Evo back in June 2025. To date, she’s had to deal with Barlow’s tag partner Lana Austin who she managed to make a successful defence against in November.
At the same show, ‘The Hot Topic’ came up short in a match against Melissa Fierce – however, she then managed to level the scores when she got the win at Regeneration 2026. However, it’s Barlow’s antics when she got involved in the title match with her LALLIE tag team partner which have drawn the most attention.
Melissa Fierce discussed getting a title opportunity, but wants to make sure she has proven why she deserves it which is why she will take on Lana Austin at the next NGW show.
However, it’s also now been confirmed by Executive Producer Mark ‘The Beast’ Labbett that Alexxis Falcon will defend her title against Hollie Barlow at NGW’s 18th anniversary event. No doubt there will be other eyes on this match given who’s in the venue, but only one will leave as title holder and the other will be a poor unfortunate soul.
The event will take place at Hull City Hall on Friday 12th June. Doors open for the show at 6.15pm with first bell at 7pm. Tickets are priced at £19 for adults, £15 for children and £58 for a family of four (booking fees apply) and are available now.
