With PROGRESS Wrestling hosting a women’s Super Strong Style 16 tournament for the first time this year, two contests have been confirmed to take place at the Electric Ballroom later this month.
In a change to the regular format, the first round matches for the tournament will take place across various shows and in a number of countries, with the quarter-finals, semi-finals and final all taking place across one weekend in May.
The first match which will take place abroad has already been confirmed, with Kanji taking on Irene at SAJ in Italy.
However, PROGRESS Wrestling return to the Electric Ballroom in Camden, London for the first time in 2026 on Sunday 25th January, and two first-round matches have been confirmed.
One of the contests will see Anita Vaughan take on the returning Skye Smitson. It will then be a full-on Experience vs. Hyperactive affair, as Safire Reed faces LA Taylor.
This is all before there’s a huge first-round match between former WWE star Shotzi Blackheart and Lana Austin, which is scheduled for For The Love Of Wrestling in Manchester on 20th February.
