It’s been a really strong year for Hollie Barlow, but it’ll be hard for her to add gold in ICW to her collection by dethroning Molly Spartan.
Molly Spartan is a two-time ICW Women’s Champion, starting her second reign by defeating Angel Hayze as part of The Insane North Weekender back in June. This continues a strong year for her, having also made a huge impression at Pro Wrestling EVE including competing in the Sudden Death 16 at Wrestle Queendom.
Spartan has then has also faced two former challengers in her first successful defence, but now she faces an entirely different proposition.
‘The Hot Topic’ Hollie Barlow has spent the last few months making a bigger and bigger name for herself around the United Kingdom, including competing in the first women’s Super Strong Style tournament and picking up titles in the likes of TNT, Infinite and Futureshock.
This has earned her a shot at the ICW gold, and a chance to improve her recent record in the company with her last three losses being against former title holder Angel Hayze, Rhio, and her now tag team partner Lana Austin.
Molly Spartan vs. Hollie Barlow for the ICW Women’s Championship will take place at The Garage in Glasgow on Saturday, 6th September. Tickets start from £23 plus booking fee and are available now.
