After a historic win at Wembley Arena, Kanji will make her first defence of the RevPro Undisputed British Women’s Championship this weekend in Coventry.
The title had been held by Alexxis Falcon for almost six months, having picked up the belt in an impromptu match against Alex Windsor back in March. This was the start of her using every trick in the book to keep hold of the gold, whilst mocking Kanji at every turn for not being able to get the job done back when it was held by Mercedes Mone.
However, this didn’t deter Kanji and her focus remained on getting to the top, and that was signalled with two big victories – winning the first Women’s Grand Prix, as well as defeating Rhio in an Iron Fist match. This was enough to earn her shot at the Anniversary event, and a pair of Hidden Blades was enough to get the three count.
On the same night, Lucy Sky won a six-woman scramble to become number one contender. Now RevPro management have confirmed that match will take place this coming Sunday.
Kanji vs. Lucy Sky for the RevPro Undisputed British Women’s Championship takes place at the HMV Empire in Coventry this coming Sunday, 20th September. Doors open for the event at 3.30pm with first bell at 4pm. Tickets are priced at £22.50 for adults, £15 for children and £32.50 for front row (booking fees apply) and are available now.
