Mercedes Martinez To Challenge For PROGRESS Wrestling Women’s Championship

PROGRESS Wrestling Chapter 192 - Alexxis Falcon vs. Mercedes Martinez

World-renowned star Mercedes Martinez has shot straight in to the PROGRESS Wrestling title picture and will challenge Alexxis Falcon for the gold next month.

Alexxis Falcon defeated Rayne Leverkusen at Chapter 189 back in January to capture the gold, with a match which left fans surrounding the ring in support of the new title holder.

However, one month later the mood shifted significantly during Falcon’s defence against her friend Rhio. At Chapter 190 in the Electric Ballroom, what originally seemed like they could have been accidental tactics soon turned out to be predetermined, especially when Falcon smashed Rhio with the title belt.

Her next defence will take place when PROGRESS Wrestling are back in the Ballroom on Sunday 29th March, and it’s been announced that it will be up against Mercedes Martinez.

Martinez is a true veteran of the wrestling industry, garnering respect wherever she goes, and has held gold in the likes of SHIMMER and Ring Of Honor, meaning this will be an extremely tough test for the ‘The Wicked Bitch Of Wrestling’.

Doors open for the event at 2pm with first bell at 3pm. Tickets start at £30 and are available now.

Whilst Skye Smitson continued her villainous ways in RevPro, but couldn’t get away from another brawl with Amira Blair!

Skye Smitson has been looking to turn things round in the promotion since her sudden loss to Amira Blair in Southampton back in December 2025.

Since then Smitson has had one eye on Blair whilst also trying to win her own matches. Following a loss to Rhio in Sheffield, she picked up a victory over Kanji in Coventry – albeit with a little assistance from Alexxis Falcon.

Now she was set to face the returning Aluna in the same venue she lost to Blair, and she was very aware that Blair was in the building after accompanying Michael Oku to ringside for his match, and made sure that the Contenders at ringside blocked an early attempt from Blair to attack, forcing her backstage.

The match between Smitson and Aluna had a lot of back and forth moments, and was another strong showing from Aluna in a RevPro ring. However, it was Smitson who managed to rake the eyes to give herself enough of an advantage to get the three count.

After the match, Smitson once again lined up the Contenders by the entranceway to make sure Blair was stopped. Wise to this, Blair came through the crowd and hit a massive spear and get a good few shots in before she was pulled away by Contenders and officials.

There seems to be no end to this rivalry coming soon, and with RevPro’s next stop being this coming Sunday 1st March at the Porchester Hall in London, it would be likely the pair will come face to face once again there. Tickets for this and all upcoming RevPro shows are available now.

Session Moth Martina Wins Pro Wrestling Cyprus Ladies Title

A new Pro Wrestling Cyprus Ladies Champion has been crowned, as Session Moth Martina managed to capture the belt on British soil this past weekend.

The title was held by Melissa Fierce, who had originally won it in a tournament for the vacant belt in October 2025, defeating LA Taylor in the final.

She had gone on to defend it earlier in February in Cyprus, overcoming Nightshade to retain the gold. On the same show, Session Moth Martina got the better of Mila Smidt to become number one contender to the championship.

Rather than in Cyprus, a collaboration with PROGRESS Wrestling led to the title match happening at For The Love Of PROGRESS in Manchester this past weekend.

The match wasn’t without its controversy, especially when Martina brought a beer in the ring only for the referee to slip on the spillage.

This allowed Martina’s ‘family’ member Kouga to get involved, which eventually led to the title changing hands.

Martina has already celebrated her victory on social media and had someone to thank.

This has been an extremely successful year so far for Martina, having also won the SHE-1 tournament and set to compete for the Pro Wrestling EVE Championship against Rhio at Wrestle Queendom.

Melissa Fierce will no doubt be looking to get revenge and regain the title, but for now it is Martina we can expect to see defending it when the next Pro Wrestling Cyprus show gets announced.

Skye Smitson vs. Aluna Added To RevPro This Weekend

RevPro Southampton - Skye Smitson vs. Aluna

RevPro are back at the 1865 in Southampton this Sunday, and it’s now been confirmed that Skye Smitson will take on Aluna.

It was in Southampton at the last RevPro show of 2025 where Smitson lost to Amira Blair which has set off a heated rivalry between the pair. Although she didn’t take any action after the match, she has since attacked Blair in both London and Coventry, and with Michael Oku on the same show you wouldn’t be surprised if they came face to face again this weekend.

However, Smitson will need to keep herself focused on picking up wins. So far she has a 1-1 record in the company in 2026, losing to Rhio in Sheffield and beating Kanji in Coventry – albeit with some help from Alexxis Falcon.

Now it has been confirmed that Skye Smitson will face Aluna at the company’s next show.

Aluna appeared sporadically in Revolution Pro in 2025, with her last match being in Southampton in September in a match which ended when her opponent was injured and the referee stopped the contest. She’ll be looking to make a huge impression by beating Smitson this time around.

Aluna Set For First-Time-Ever Match At Pro Wrestling Chaos

Pro Wrestling Chaos - March 2026

Aluna returned to Pro Wrestling Chaos in December, and will now be back again in Bristol next month where she’ll face an opponent she’s never faced before.

Aluna was the only female to enter the Chaos Rumble back in December 2025 when she made her return to the promotion. She’s also started the year strong around the country, including debuting for PROGRESS Wrestling at Chapter 190 earlier in February.

Now she heads to Bristol on Saturday 14th March where she’ll take on someone not only who she’s never gone up against before but who is making their Pro Wrestling Chaos debut in Hollie Barlow.

The event takes place at King’s Oak Academy, with doors opening at 6pm and first bell at 6.30pm. Early bird tickets are priced at £27 for front row, £23 for second row, £18 for general admission and £58 for families of four (booking fees apply) and are available now.

Multiple Title Opportunities At Wrestling Resurgence This Month

Wrestling Resurgence - February 2026

There will be three title matches at the next Wrestling Resurgence show in Leicester, with Kanji, Amira Blair and Hyperactive all looking to leave with gold.

Kanji currently holds the Wrestling Resurgence Championship, and has already successfully defended it against the likes of Jay Joshua and Charles Crowley.

Now she faces another huge challenge as she puts the title on the line against Cara Noir.

There will also be a Tag Team Championship defence from Hyperactive, as they go up against former title holders Act Two.

One person who will be going in without a title but looking to leave with one, as she challenges for the Arthouse Championship in a match with Mike Bird.

The show takes place at the Y Theatre in Leicester on Saturday 28th February. Doors open at 6pm with first bell at 6.30pm. Tickets are priced at £24 for front row balcony or unreserved adult seating, £12.50 for unreserved child seating, £60 for a family of four seating or £16.50 for standing, and are available now.

AEW Dynamite - The Brawling Birds TV Debut

After weeks of build, Alex Windsor and Jamie Hayter will make their televised AEW debut as a team this week on Dynamite.

Jamie Hayter is a former Women’s World Champion in AEW, whilst Alex Windsor won the RevPro Undisputed Women’s Championship at the end of last year from Mercedes Mone during the company’s tour of the UK.

Over recent weeks there have been hype packages building after the pair agreed that they should work together in the quest for tag gold.

It has now been confirmed that they will make official TV debut this Wednesday on Dynamite, although their opponents are yet to be announced.

The pair have actually already teamed together in the company, as they defeated Charli Evans and Kyla Knight over the weekend during the company’s time in Australia. However, this is the first time they’ll be a team on television.

Pro Wrestling EVE has now sold out Indigo at the O2 for Wrestle Queendom next month, but there is more actioned confirmed for 48 hours before that.

Queendom will take place on Sunday 8th March, and EVE have confirmed that all tickets have now been sold, meaning there will be around 1,200 fans in attendance.

Tickets are also selling fast for two days before that on Friday 6th March, when Pro Wrestling EVE will be at the Big Penny Social in London for another huge event.

Already signed for that show is what many are billing as a dream match, where Jamie Hayter will take on Miyu Yamashita.

Now, three more matches have been confirmed for that show, including a Tag Team Championship defence by LALLIE as they put the gold on the line against the debuting Johnnie Robbie and Miko Alana.

Ahead of their singles match at Wrestle Queendom, Safire Reed and AZM will face off in tag action as Reed teams with Syuri and AZM is partnered by Alex Windsor.

There’s also an EVE return for Dani Mo as she combines with Melissa Fierce to take on the French Art combination of JGU and Cory Zero, whilst ‘All Violence’ Anita Vaughan faces Dash Chisako.

There are only standing tickets remaining for this event, with full details available on the Pro Wrestling EVE website.

RESULTS: Shocking Scenes To End PROGRESS Wrestling Chapter 190

In what was originally down as a match of respect between Alexxis Falcon and Rhio, the latest PROGRESS Wrestling show ended with anything but respect.

Alexxis Falcon won the PROGRESSS Women’s World Championship to a huge reception at Chapter 189 in Camden. Very quickly she made it clear she’d be ready to put the gold on the line against anyone – and it became clear that her friend and former title holder Rhio was going to be first in line.

The match started as you’d expect – both showing good faith in trying to outwrestle the other. There were a couple of low blows, but both apologised, although this set the tone of what was to come later.

After accidentally raking Rhio’s eyes, Rhio thought she was hitting the package piledriver on Falcon, but unfortunately it was the referee she had hold of.

A second referee came to the ring, however after both women had the opportunity to win he too was taken out with a missile dropkick from Rhio when Falcon moved out the way.

Whilst a third referee helped the second to the back, his back was turned and no official saw what was coming, and Rhio certainly didn’t expect, as Falcon smashed her in the head with the title belt.

As the referee entered the ring, Alexxis Falcon hit the Off With Her Head which was enough to gain the three count over a bloodied Rhio.

Falcon stood tall and even spat on her downed opponent, as ‘The Wicked Bitch Of PROGRESS Wrestling” was officially born.

It didn’t take Falcon long to show her disdain for the PROGRESS crowd either.

The show also kicked off with women’s action, as the debuting Aluna took on Maddy Morgan.

The crowd were behind both ladies, with Aluna getting a huge reception for someone who hadn’t wrestled in the Electric Ballroom before. The action was back and forth, however it was Morgan with a huge moonsault who was able to get her first victory in PROGRESS Wrestling.

PROGRESS moves on to For The Love Of Wrestling this coming Friday, before returning to London at the Electric Ballroom in London on Sunday 29th March with a show which will feature Mercedes Martinez. Tickets for upcoming shows are available now.

Full Card Confirmed For TNT Siren’s Fury

TNT will present Siren’s Fury in Liverpool later this month and the full lineup has now been set.

Two-time Undisputed Women’s Champion Lana Austin has been dominant since winning the belt in May 2025, but now she comes up against one of the fastest rising stars in the UK today in Melissa Fierce.

Austin’s LALLIE tag team partner Hollie Barlow will also be in action as she takes on Maddy Morgan who will soon be heading off for an extended tour with Marigold in Japan. This also means Barlow will be in the building so you can expect her to be at Austin’s side.

Two former TNT Undisputed Women’s Champions will also collide, as Lucy Sky faces Alexxis Falcon. There’s also action for Session Moth Martina, who’s already made a strong start to 2026 and will also be competing for Cypriot championship gold this month.

The full card for TNT Siren’s Fury which takes place at the Fusion Nightclub in Liverpool on Thursday 27th February is as follows:
