True Grit Wrestling ran their annual Rumble event, where Alexxis Falcon defended her Women’s Championship against Hollie Barlow.
The event took place at The Left Bank in Leeds, where Barlow took the fight to the title holder early on in the match.
There were the usual tactics from Falcon though, including feigning an injury which would end up being enough for her to hit the Off With Her Head and successfully defend the belt.
This meant she could watch on during the Rumble match to see how other potential challengers to her gold got on – and there were plenty involved.
One of them was Hollie Barlow herself, who showed her power including hitting a double chokeslam which she apologised for on social media after.
Others involved in the match included Lily Winter, Melissa Fierce and Natalie Sykes, although none of them were able to outlast the rest of the competitors and beat eventual winner, Tony Wright.
True Grit Wrestling will return to The Left Bank in Leeds on Sunday 8th March, and will also hold a show in York on Saturday 7th February. Although no stars have been confirmed for the shows at this stage, tickets for both are available now.
