The era of Alexxis Falcon in RevPro is finally over, as Kanji walked away from Wembley Arena with the Undisputed British Women’s Championship.
Earlier this year, ‘The Wicked Bitch Of Wrestling’ quickly rose through the ranks in RevPro, snatching a victory during a gauntlet match to earn herself a shot at Mercedes Mone and two of her titles at the time. After some goading on social media, Mone put two titles on the line and with the help of both belts, Falcon walked away with them.
Just 24 hours later Falcon was at it again, when she managed to convince Alex Windsor to put her Women’s Championship on the line straight after a successful defence against Safire Reed. She accepted, and a miscommunication with Kanji led to Falcon winning three belts in two days.
Falcon was quick to mock Kanji for what had happened, and the rivalry between the pair continued all the way through until the 14th Anniversary event. Whilst Falcon continued her winning ways when it mattered most, Kanji had to deal with issues with Rhio which culminated in an Iron Fist match. It was that win along with picture up the victory in the Women’s Grand Prix which put Kanji in the picture for a title shot at Wembley Arena.
In the buildup, once again Alexxis Falcon looked to stack the decks against Kanji, adding Skye Smitson and ‘Double Action’ Shaun Jackson to her ranks. Both accompanied her to the ring at Wembley Arena, however Kanji also didn’t come completely alone.
Kanji and Stixx go back a long time in British wrestling, and the midlands powerhouse levelled the numbers when he made sure Jackson couldn’t continue getting involved in the match.
However, Falcon wasn’t going to let the gold go easily, and ended up particularly bloodied during the contest. On multiple occasions it looked like she was going to retain, with emotions moving between anger, frustration and upset when Kanji kept the fight going.
The frustration boiled over when Falcon connected with the Off With Her Head DDT off the ropes and Kanji once again kicked out. As she went to spit at the challenger, the attempt was blocked and quickly followed up with two hidden blades – one to the front and one to the back of Falcon’s head – which was enough to get the win and crown a new champion.
