At the huge All In weekend event for Pro Wrestling EVE, the company introduced a new title belt with a triple-threat match for the first holder.
It’s become a staple of Pro Wrestling EVE that a number of matches are competed under the ‘spirit of EVE’, giving officials leniency if all competitors are going to the same lengths to allow actions to slide including the use of weapons.
The fact that more and more matches seem to be going this way, EVE management have moved to introduce a title belt specifically designed for these kind of matches.
The gold was introduced tonight at EVE vs. The World 2, with the first champion decided straight away. After their action at EVE 151 back in July, both AEW’s Skye Blue and Emersyn Jayne were in the match, with it made a triple-threat including Lucy Sky.
Whilst everyone involved ended up covered in blood as you may expect, it was Sky who managed to pick up the win and leave Big Penny Social as the inaugural champion.
Lucy Sky isn’t the only person to leave with gold they didn’t have when they walked in, as Kris Statlander became Pro Wrestling EVE Champion when she beat Session Moth Martina.
