Alexxis Falcon was set to defend her RevPro Undisputed British Women’s Championship against Aliss Ink before she flipped the script once again, and Kay Lee Ray debuted against Kanji at Porchester Hall this weekend.
It was last month at Live In London 108 when Aliss Ink made her debut in RevPro and went up against Alexxis Falcon in a non-title match. After a back and forth battle, one knockout kick was enough for Ink to get the victory, and shot herself straight in to the title picture and was granted a shot this month.
However, with the challenger already in the ring ‘The Wicked Bitch Of Wrestling’ with a microphone and informed everyone that due to the effects of the concussion suffered from the kick the month before she was not able to compete. Instead, she made sure Ink still got a match and introduced Skye Smitson.
Falcon stayed at ringside for the match to support Smitson, however when the referee caught her involvement she was ejected from ringside. Both women then came close to winning, however it was Ink who managed to connect with the kick once again and score the victory.
After the match Falcon returned to the ring, however she was also left unconscious from a choke, and when Smitson recovered she had to carry her new partner backstage.
Later in the show, Kanji was looking to exact some revenge from her recent loss to Rhio when she took on the debuting Kay Lee Ray. Former WWE star KLR came in with plenty of credentials, and certainly took the fight to Kanji in a fast-paced match.
There were plenty of opportunities for both ladies to pick up the win, and after hitting the gory bomb it looked like it would be Ray coming out on top. However, Kanji then managed to evade a huge swanton attempt and hit a hidden blade which sent KLR’s head in to the opposite bottom turnbuckle. She quickly followed this up with a guillotine which was enough to get a submission – and after the match a handshake and proper show of respect from Kay Lee Ray.
RevPro have events in Sheffield, Bradford, Wolverhampton and Coventry this month, before returning to Porchester Hall on Sunday 2nd August, ahead of the huge show at Wembley Arena on Saturday 29th August. Tickets to all these events are available now.
